The Evangelical Lutheran Reformed Church is located on Main Street in the city of Beit Jala, next to the Old City center. The church was built in 1894 and operates under the umbrella of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land (ELCJHL).

The church plays a very important role in the community. In addition to its religious mission, it provides support to the Palestinian community in the fields of education, environmental protection, and awareness-raising.

In 2001, the Abraham Guesthouse, known as “Beit Ibrahim,” was established next to the church by renovating the old rooms and adding a new building.
